Our Story

The journey began with a foundation in Lean Six Sigma. This methodology was honed over two decades in American industries. The experience highlighted the power of process improvement, transforming struggling organizations into thriving ones by focusing on efficiency and quality.
However, the perspective broadened through observing Asian and US educational models. This exploration, encompassing traditional and more inspiring approaches, highlighted the strengths and weaknesses of each system. It was found that a pure "manufacturing" approach needed adjustment when applied to education. Instead, it was sought to integrate the best aspects of each, focusing on fostering a love of learning and personal growth within a structured framework.
This blend of influences led to a unique approach to nurturing children's potential. The focus was to identify and cultivate their individual passions. He excelled in the national competitive soccer league with full scholarship, not because it was a specific dream, but because he found joy and purpose in it, learning the crucial values of humility, teamwork, passion, and perseverance.
Similarly, eleven-year-old years son, driven by a natural curiosity, dove deep into STEM fields. His exploration was supported, learning about diverse topics like Electric Power, Astronomy, Rocketry, 3D printing, and more. The focus was not to push him to be "Talented" but to encourage him to be focused and consistent in pursuing what he loved, leading him to become the youngest keynote speaker in Maker Faire OC 2023 – a testament to the power of self-driven learning.
The experience has demonstrated that true excellence isn't about rigid systems or forced achievement, but about creating an environment that empowers children to discover their strengths, embrace challenges, and carve their own unique path. The focus is to provide the tools and support, but ultimately, the journey is theirs to lead.
