STEM Workshop 2026 动手工作坊
Class Start: 1/7/26 to 5/30/26 (Spring Break 3/25, 3/27 no class) Wednesday or Friday 6:30 to 8:30pm at Heritage Park, Irvine
We use hands-on experiments and project-based learning to help children understand science and engineering through authentic creation. The curriculum combines STEM education with Lean Six Sigma thinking to cultivate children's problem-solving, teamwork, and creative thinking skills. Our philosophy is to innovate education, using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to tailor a learning journey for each child. High-engagement, practical STEM courses ignite curiosity, exercise independent thinking, and foster practical yet non-traditional technical skills. The course modules include:
1, Hands-on Electronic Soldering: Learn circuit principles and soldering techniques, identify components, and complete functional small electronic projects
2, Short Video Creations: From idea generation to filming and editing, providing children with a channel to express unique viewpoints and share what they have learned.
3, Computer Hardware Troubleshoot: Understand the internal structure of devices, practice standardized disassembly and assembly with basic diagnostics, and enhance problem-solving skills.
4, Introduction to 3D Printing: Learn basic modeling to turn ideas into physical objects. Encouraging them to think outside the box and turn their ideas into reality.
5, Meteorology Storm Chase: provides kids with hands-on experience in critical thinking, data analysis, and engineering design, while also fostering curiosity and connecting science to real-world applications
